ATLJAPANESE

ATLJapanese provides Atlanta-area residents with fluency-focused private & group Japanese lessons as well as an immersion-focused learning community. I have devised an intensive curriculum for students who wish to reach near-native fluency as efficiently as possible.

By joining ATLJapanese, you will gain access to a Discord-based language learning community, where you can use resources such as immersion guides, bilingual manga and anime, graded immersion recommendations, textbooks, and customized flashcards. On our Discord, you can chat with other students in Japanese and English, join bookclubs, and receive guidance as you progress through each level of fluency.

Students can expect to learn the basics of Japanese in 3-5 weeks and learn over 1000 kanji in 6-8 months. A committed student can expect functional fluency in 3-4 years. I also offer adaptive study plans to meet a variety of goals, including travel prep, personal enrichment, reconnecting with Japanese family, or engaging with Japanese culture. Learn more about my curriculum here.

For private lessons, an initial consultation is FREE and there is no pressure to continue! We will discuss your Japanese learning goals and develop a tentative study plan together. I will provide you with study resources such as textbooks, customized flashcards, and native immersion materials. I was formally located in Midtown but now meet with students virtually via Discord.
